Group structure

RDS is the engineering division of KCA Deutag, one of the world's leading drilling and engineering contractors with operations in approximately 20 countries.

There are three other divisions in the group - Land, Offshore and Bentec. Through combining the strengths of the four divisions, KCA Deutag aims to provide customers with end-to-end solutions, offering services from innovative design and manufacture right through to trouble-free drilling operations.

Land

KCA Deutag owns and operates a fleet of approximately 60 high quality land rigs ranging from highly mobile units to large rigs capable of drilling extended reach wells. We operate in a wide range of environments, from the extreme temperatures of the Sahara to the arctic conditions of Siberia.

Offshore

KCA Deutag performs drilling operations on our clients’ fixed installations. For the last 40 years platform drilling services has been at the core of the company. Today we have a pool of experienced people working across current geographies of operation such as the North Sea, the Caspian Sea, Sakhalin Island and West Africa.

RDS

At RDS we’ve developed a comprehensive portfolio of services – including rig design, reactivation and modification, construction and commissioning and conceptual engineering – to deliver integrated expertise throughout a project lifecycle.

Bentec

As an international manufacturer of drilling rigs and oilfield equipment and an independent division of KCA Deutag, Bentec offers a unique combination of resources, industry experience and expertise to deliver the highest quality standards across all drilling rig systems.
